Norman W. Cole, P. Eng.
Mr. Cole has over thirty years of experience
in planning and coordinating the development and implementation of a broad
range of engineering and business information systems.
As president of
Cole And Company Limited since 1978, he has been responsible for the direction
of systems planning, design, training and development projects with Electric
and Telephone Utilities, the Construction & Oil and Gas Industries, Airlines,
Federal Government Agencies and other clients across Canada and within
the USA, Africa, and the United Kingdom.
From 1970 to 1977 he was responsible
for the Management Systems Operations for Montreal Engineering Company
Limited (Monenco). This group developed and supported the Company’s internal
systems and provided planning, design, programming, project management
and other systems assistance to Monenco’s clients across Canada and overseas.
During this period, Mr. Cole was also in charge of Monenco Computing Services,
a wholly-owned subsidiary providing data processing services for clients
through a number of processing centers and telecommunication facilities
across Canada.
Prior to 1970 Mr. Cole was with Calgary Power Ltd. (now
TransAlta Utilities), where he directed a number of major systems development
projects while acting also as an internal consultant on all administrative
and accounting information systems.
Mr. Cole is a civil engineer, with
a degree from McGill University in 1961. He has been active within a number
of professional, business and other associations across Canada. |
